Conus irregularis : ウィキペディア英語版 | Conus irregularis
''Conus irregularis'', common name the irregular cone, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Conidae, the cone snails and their allies.〔 Like all species within the genus ''Conus'', these snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all. ==Description== The size of the shell varies between 17 mm and 35 mm. The top-shaped shell has a bluish ash color, tinged with chestnut at the extremities, with two white lines, one at the rounded shoulder, the other near the middle, overlaid, when perfectly developed, with white zigzag markings. 〔 (G.W. Tryon (1884) Manual of conchology, structural and systematic, with illustrations of the species, vol. VI; Philadelphia, Academy of Natural Sciences ) (described as ''Conus olivaceus'' var. ''irregularis'') 〕
